So I'm baking a crumb cake. I made the crumbs, and then you have to put them in the freezer to get hard, so I figured I'd take a break between that and the rest of the cake, maybe smoke a little or something.
I checks the listings, and X-Files is on. Now, I haven't watched in years -- one, it got crappy once all the cool people decided they didn't really want to be in it anymore, and two, I lost my X-Files-watching-partner, and watching the X-Files isn't nearly as fun by oneself. But it's the only thing on, and I checked listings online and the title of the episode is "Jump the Shark"!! Suddenly I am intrigued. Everyone knows there are only a handful of episodes left. So what are they going to do? Oh, the suspense!
And I was not disappointed! It had a shark angle in it, sorta, AND they freaking KILLED OFF ALL OF THE LONE GUNMEN. Swear to God! Hooray for them! I guess it's not so ballsy since the series is over anyway, but still, hooray for them. Man, though, if that had happened two or three seasons ago, there would have been SADNESS all around, but not so much now. Still made me tear up, though, but my defense is this: I was high, the blonde guy reminds me of Oliver, I've always loved those guys anyway, and I cry at everything.
