Dinner in New York

I was in New York this past Saturday, to have dinner with my mom and some very very old friends of hers, and their daughters. It turned out to be a lot better than I had anticipated. I'm one of those dorks who doesn't mind shit like that, though.

We went out to eat at an Italian restaurant. I had shrimps marinara, which was 6 shrimp over linguine with marinara sauce. It was one of the best meals I've had out in a while, and definitely the best Italian I've had in a loooong time. (I'm not a big Italian person). I also ordered a wine, and I forget what it was, but it was realllly good as well. A white. Simply delicious. And the bill was only $140 for eight of us.

My mom and I walked back to Penn Station from the restaurant. It wasn't foggy, per se, but the clouds were so low that you couldn't see the tops of any of the skyscarpers.

This is the Empire State building.
