Yesterday was too hot, but today is just right. I went to my park again during lunch. I walked around at first, taking pictures, and then I spread out my colorful Mexican blanket in the middle of the football field (on Friday I said it was a soccer field, but I wasn't paying attention, it is an American football field) and ate my bologna sandwich as I played FFTA on my GBA SP. Then I laid down on my belly and dozed off for ten or fifteen minutes. Don't get me wrong, walking around is nice and all, but I think that perhaps next time I'll jump right to the balogna and the nap. Napping outside is the bomb shit. Napping outside is one of my favorite things ever. I have a camping hammock that I bought at Shenandoah a couple summers ago, when Kevin and Vince and Sharonne and I went down to see the meteorites, and it juuust fits on my balcony. My butt swings an inch or so above the deck. But it's great. I didn't use it ONCE last year, because last year it was rainrainrainrainrainrainrainrainVIOLENT BURNING SWELTERING HEATwinter. But this year, I want to get good use out of it. Nap time on the balcony! I've said it before and I'll say it again, when o when will they come up with a career whose job description is "must be able to fall asleep just about anywhere"?? Because on that day I will be a ZILLIONAIRE. A well-rested zillionaire at that.
