The Last Episode Ever of Gilmore Girls was last night. I was worried -- I am, as you may have noticed, easily annoyed -- but they made me happy.

I went over to Michelle and Teege's to watch it there. They made shish-kebabs for dinner, which were delicious. I drank wine and cried into my napkin.

I like the way they ended things. I think it was perfect. I think the reason for Rory's sudden departure was realistic. And they left Luke and Lorelai exactly as I wanted them to: with a promise of Happily Ever After, but without a stupid rushed proposal or something similar.

I'll miss that show. Now I have no shows! Just Project Runway. Oh well.

I haven't seen Gilmore Girls in two years, but I made a special point of seeing the series finale. It made me want to rent all the DVDs. I love that bittersweet feeling when you get to end of a show or a book and you actually miss the characters!

I guess people liked it? And I have to start getting excited about the Gilmore Girls after spending this year getting unexcited based on how much everyone hated the last season.

Oh, don't let other people's opinions be so discouraging.

There was a lot about last season that was disappointing and frustrating, but that didn't make the entire season a wash for me, as it seemed to do for other people. And the beginning of this season was frustrating too, but it got stuff out of the way, and in the second half there were a lot of good episodes.

Even disappointing GG is better than most crappy TV any day.

I guess I should be thankful that I still have quite a bit of Gilmore Girls to look forward to, while everyone else has seen it to the end.

Hey Kerry! It's Leah.

I looked through your userpics and I see that you probably like Sealab 2021. AWESOME.

Therefore you added.

Also, don't know if you remember, but you choked Sean tonight. Two kudos. Sometimes he needs a good chokehold.

I actually do not remember that at all! But it's good to hear.
