Okay, so I was minding my own business, adding an interest or two (700 Club, diners). After I added them, I perused my entire list, and noticed that "making sweet sweet love" was now underlined, when previously it was not. So I click on it, and there's only one other user. So I go to check her shit out, and she's some fourteen year-old girl from Ohio, and I scroll down to her Interests, and LIKE HALF OF THEM ARE BOLDED!!!! And she doesn't have that many interests! And they're all really odd, unrelated ones, like "chillin'" and "chopsticks".
Now, unless I forgot the right place to look, LJ no longer has that interest-search feature where you can find out who has the most interests in common with you. So I do a little clicking, and here's the evidence I have garnered, lemme know what you think:
The following are interests that Sarah Blake and I share, followed by the total number of LiveJournalers who have that listed as an interest:
monkeying around - 3
roughhousing - 3
making sweet sweet love - 2
figuring stuff out - 4
making decisions - 3
instant potatoes - 3
getting dirty - 17 (which of course is always followed by...)
long hot showers - 13
So that's conclusive, right? Isn't that weird? I mean, I've been inspired by other people's Interests too, but not to such a large degree. And the bummer of it is that LiveJournal is a little on the fritz right now, so I can't check out her journal. Oh, and she also has "rolling" and "tripping" in there, but she's only 14, so I'm guessing that she thought I meant "bowling" and "being clumsy" and stole those, too.
So she's, like, a fan of my life, or something, right? Sweet.
Oh, and if you're Sarah and you're reading this: a comment?
