I don't mind worry following me like a dinosaur

Remember how I had a wonderful day last Friday? We skipped work and went to the beach (and the beach is a LOT more fun when you're supposed to be at work than when it's just a Saturday with a billion more people there), and then that night we drove up to New Brunswick to see Lewis Black. For both excursions we took two cars, and for both excursions I was driving one of the cars.

I probably could have gotten away with only driving once -- hell, I know I could, because my friends are reasonable and considerate -- but I drove both times because I didn't mind doing it. It's too bad there isn't a scientific way to quantify that sort of thing, because that is exactly the criteria we should be using to determine who should drive, what we should do Friday night, etc. It's all about "who minds the least". Unfortunately, people try to be considerate, and feel obligated to do things, and boviously that's commendable, but it results in having people drive who mind more than the guy in the back seat. Isn't that unfortunate? We should think up a way to fix that. A scale, maybe, from one to ten. Worksheets that everyone has to fill out. Something like that.
