Think of my lifelong sorrow if you caught pneumonia and died.

This weekend MEGA SPY and I were in the Blarney South, an Irish Pub on South Street. Before Cleetus McBride -- an excellent, excellent guitar/harmonica songster -- arrived, the music wasn't so good. They played a lame-o version of "Baby It's Cold Outside" which is miles behind the version to which I'm listening right now.

As if you didn't know, it's Ray Charles and Nina Simone, the first track on a very kohmu christmas. I thought her voice was funny the first few times I listened to it, but it grew on me quickly and now I can't get enough. And NOW, at work, Ray is coming at me from my left speaker, and Nina from my right, and man that rules. Mary Crimas Everyone.

    Today is Thursday. Settlement on the sale of our house is Tuesday. I took the dog for a walk today, and I started to get a little emotional.
