It's President's Day! Happy President's Day, everyone. Man, I hope this year can top LAST year's President's Day! Foof, I doubt it. What a blast that was.
I'm just kidding, I rarely do anything to celebrate President's Day. But today on the news, the weather guy gave the weather in all these cities that were named after presidents, like Madison. I think he probably named every president. Even though the weather in any of these places doesn't affect me, and even though he was listing them so fast I didn't have time to think about them anyhow, I stayed in my car to listen to him finish.
And today is a holiday in my company, but I'm here anyway. They're asking me to be prepared to work all kinds of overtime for the next few somethings -- I'm hoping those somethings are "weeks", though no one's really sure -- but I'm here because it isn't a real freaking holiday. So now I have one floating holiday which is nice because I don't get any vacation days until I've been here six months (!), and even then I think I have to earn them by the month. Fucking ridiculous. So now I have one at least, in case I want to take a long weekend and drive up to see Nick in Vermont, or something. Also the place is very quiet since only about half the people are in today. So that's kind of nice. And Norm bought us all pizza for lunch. But it is FUCKING COLD in here and I don't know why. My fingers are stiff it's so cold, I swear to shit.
